Volunteer Opportunities

Our association is a volunteer-based organization, run by people who want to help provide a quality soccer program for the kids of our community. Here are some of the important volunteer opportunities

Coaching - The majority of our teams are coached by parent volunteers. Whether you have coaching experience or are a beginner, your child's team may have an opportunity for you to be either the head or assistant coach. Help is given to new coaches to make sure you have what you need to get started, and coaching education is available both on-line and through on-field clinics.

By running practices and coaching on game day you play a valuable role in giving an opportunity for kids to play. Coaching is a very rewarding way to volunteer your time!

Administration - our program is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who want to give their time to helping our associatioin run smoothly. This gives people who care about providing a quality soccer program for our kids a chance to set the policies and run different aspects of our organization to keep it healthy and growing.

Referees - Our games are officiated by referees who help to provide a great soccer experience for our kids. The U5-U7 games are refereed by parent volunteers. The U8-U19 ages are officiated by licensed referees who are paid for each game. Become a licensed referee by completing the entry-level referee course. Youth age 12 and up are eligible to become referees also.

TOP Soccer - Looking for Buddies. This time does count toward volunteer time. Anyone need some for graduation? We are getting ready to start back up on March 14th. If you did not participate last fall, please register at: http://wys-topstukwila.affinitysoccer.com/reg/index.asp?sessionguid All Players & Buddies/Volunteers need to be registered. I will need to collect a new AAI release form for players with Down Syndrome. This can be downloaded during registration, unless you gave me one in the fall.
